It is used for compression in the treatment of venous system disorders, among others - chronic venous diseases stages I to II according to the Widmer scale or C0s to C4 according to the CEAP classification, the initial phase post-sclerotherapy, and edema during pregnancy. Mediven cotton is also used for thrombosis prophylaxis in mobile patients.
Taking into account the material, fit, and specific product characteristics, mediven cotton is recommended for people of normal to overweight weight with a mild to severe tendency for venous edema formation. It is also indicated for patients with soft connective tissue or sensitive or atopic skin.
